INVICTA VALIANTS

BRINGING FUN FOOTBALL TO CHILDREN FROM ASHFORD, ROMNEY MARSH & SHEPWAY

INVICTA VALIANTS was formed by David Ramzan because his son Alex, who is partially sighted and loves football, desperately wanted to join a football club like the rest of his school friends. No other junior clubs in the area run junior special needs teams, so after taking a series of coaching courses run by the Football Association Invicta Valiants football club were formed.

The first fun football session took place on 5th September 2004, with further sessions running on Sunday mornings throughout the footballing season. Children are welcome to join however far away they live from the Ashford area.

Invicta Valiants is supported by The Football Foundation, The Co-operative group, The Kent FA, Ashford Borough Council and Kent County Council’s sports development departments, and sponsorship from local businesses.
