Kent Junior Pan Disability League

The final round of games in the Kent Junior Pan Disability League (2006/2007) was played on 15/4/07 at Goals Soccer Centre in Dartford.
This is the first season of the Kent Junior Pan Disability League which has been established by the Kent County FA in the under 11 and under 16 age groups.

The Under 16 league was broken down into two divisions in order to cater for the differences in ability levels of the players.
The league was established after last years Champions World Cup Junior Pan Disability Football Tournament. The tournament attracted 36 teams from across the South East with over 300 players competing. Sir Geoff Hurst attended the tournament to kick off the first game and the event was awarded the UEFA Grassroots Disability Event of the Year award for 2006.
The Kent Junior Pan Disability League has been run as a central venue league on three dates (26/11/06, 11/3/06 and 15/4/07) this season with all teams playing each other once on the day. The league has been a fantastic success and the standard of play and behaviour from all the players was excellent.

The league is currently being reviewed by the Kent Disability Football Partnership for the 2007/2008 season with more teams looking to enter.
